Adelheid Suzuki deserved better

All the KHR girls do, honestly, but I keep thinking about Adel lately.
Like, at her base components, it all adds up to a cool and powerful character that fits in with all the other assholes in this canon.
1. She’s an amazingly and frankly scarily competent melee fighter. Like, she does lose in the fight against Hibari, but please remember that she held her own in the fight before that and even those watching the Battle of the Armbands acknowledged her skill and that it might be a problem even for ridiculous overpowered tank Kyoya Hibari. Also it’s hinted she took out a whole respected Family’s fighting forces on her own. (I know, I know, Worf Effect, but still.)
2. She’s extremely empathetic and supportive to the needs of her Family, as shown when Daemon Spade reflects on how she’s the passion of Simon and there are flashbacks to her doing things like encouraging Kaoru or being there for Shitt P.
3. And she’s like that because the rest of their families are dead. Most of Simon, or at least those they were familiar with, are dead.
4.So Adelheid clearly took up all the responsibility of running what’s essentially both a more personal family of six other kids at a young age and a professional Family where she was clearly the driving force behind plotting out how to smackdown the Vongola and get Sin all during an inheritance ceremony attended by some of the most powerful criminals in the world.
5. Seriously she’s a professional badass bitch

When she first tells Hibari she’s already taken care of approval “by force”, it’s either a sign that she researched Hibari at least a little and approached him in the only language he really understands which is “fucking people up” OR it’s a sign that this is just how Adelheid does things all the time.
7. Or both even
8. Either way would fit her character as a woman who is utterly ruthless in establishing power (for the powerless Simon especially) and does what works best.
9. The rest of Simon respects her and follows her lead. See: how they let her decide things during the discussion on how to guard Tsuna (with the exception of Daemon-possessed Julie and Shitt P, whose schedule and habits Adel is respectful of) and even Julie scolded Skull on accepting Adelheid’s cooking during the Curse Arc when he was staying with Simon.
10. She’s obviously a more offensive minded sort of person but she has a more defensive sort of powerset with the Glacier ring, and it’s a monster of a defense. How does that mesh?
11. Just. Everything about Adelheid Suzuki’s character.
She has so many interesting parts to her, this young woman who has sharpened herself into a force of nature all in the name of making Simon rise and making her family safe while never forgetting their feelings and individual selves.
And yet her entire design is for fanservice and it makes me want to lay on the floor screeching into a pillow.
There is nothing about Adelheid’s design in canon that fits her personality, besides the fact that she wears a school uniform. That’s the only part that would go with her character as a woman who is almost aggressively proud of where she’s from against a world that has tried to keep Simon down.
But the plainly visible garters? The high thin heeled boots? The lack of even a tank top beneath her uniform to try and help her chest area? No shorts or leggings or tights beneath her skirt to hide her underwear when she gets into physical skirmishes which is like all the time? The random unzip-and-cleavage bit for the latter battle she takes part in?
It doesn’t fit any part of her personality or character as a person who uses every and any means to be seen as part of a respected and powerful family. It’s just blatant, shameless fanservice for a character that deserves better.
