But anyway, I was gathering screencaps for Varia arc and, like many tiny things no one else cares about, the exchange at the end of Ryohei's match caught my attention mostly because of Tsuna’s expressions. He’s just told his father in no uncertain terms that they NEED to talk, Iemitsu owes him an explanation, and Iemitsu goes “we do” and bows.
Tsuna just looks so surprised. I mentioned in my Dad Off post that I don’t think Tsuna hates or even can hate Iemitsu. There’s just a lot of issues because Iemitsu has proven himself to be untrustworthy and unreliable- doubly so from the start of this whole Ring mess. So for him to (seemingly) apologize and be ready to explain everything especially after he promised just the other night to do exactly that…
This could have been the chance to repair his relationship with Tsuna, a fact I don’t think Tsuna is truly opposed to, and THEN HE FUCKS RIGHT OFF.
And Tsuna (with Gag Manga levels of ignorance eased up) seems to recognize that the second Iemitsu pulls up Lambo. Because if there’s something Iemitsu is apparently stunning at, it’s deflecting and hauling ass.
